Forest Activities
The Wild Place is Milton Country Park's main Forest School, bushcraft and outdoor education location. We host a varied program for all ages. All sessions are run by experienced and qualified staff.​

Sessions operate in all weather apart from high winds so please ensure everyone attending is appropriately attired for British weather! Waterproof top and bottoms alongside lots of layers and appropriate footwear such as wellies are recommended.

​Wild Beginnings is our term time Forest School ‘Stay and Play’ group for preschoolers. Come and explore the outdoors during our sessions in the Wild Place. Running with the Forest School ethos of holistic development and connecting with nature, our sessions encourage learners to grow as they explore. Our child led environment includes mud, bugs, craft, fire lighting, swings and more. A snack will be provided each session. Everything tastes better in the outdoors! Adults can meet like-minded people and discover things to do in the outdoors with children, both during and outside sessions. Non-walking accompanying siblings are free, a space must be booked for all walking children. Sessions are block booked for the term. Please join our waiting list for priority as spaces become avaliable

​Wildlings sessions offer a sociable, friendly and nurturing space to new parents and their babies. The focus is on giving parents the opportunity to meet other parents in a relaxed and supportive environment. Fireside chats, tea, coffee and biscuits are facilitated by us so that parents can relax, connect and enjoy the benefits of some time spent outdoors. 1.5h session, refreshments provided, please ensure you advise of any dietary requirements. Session are £5 when block booked for the term
