Accessibility

At Milton Country Park we want to ensure that everyone can access the park and get outdoors in a way that suits them.

Our Site

Milton Country Park has accessible footpaths which can take a wheelchair. Please note however that paths can get muddy during the winter season, especially to the north of the park.

We have disabled parking nearest the entrance which is free for blue badge holders.

Our cafe has no steps and double doors at entry points and a ramp at the rear of the building to the viewing platform.

We have a Changing Places toilet with hoist in the car park, accessed with a radar key and a disabled toilet in the cafe.

Activities

We try and make our activities as accessible as possible. Whilst we cannot provide 1:1 care as part of our usual booked activity slots, we have many accommodations available to help.

We also run You Can Bike Too sessions, with many different accessible bikes available to hire.

Please contact mcp@cambridgesportlakes.org.uk to discuss how we can best help you experience your chosen activity.

Volunteering

At the park we also have extensive experience of running volunteer sessions tailored towards adults and young adults with SEN. We offer people from all backgrounds and abilities the chance to learn new outdoor skills, interact with their environment, and socialise with other people.
