Learning and exploring in the outdoors is key for the development of young minds. Milton Country Park's many pathways and habitats provide the perfect location for many different activities. From nature walks to pond dipping, den building to water sports, there can be something for everyone.

School Activity Days 

Bring your class to Milton Country Park for a fun, active, and educational outdoor experience! We offer a wide range of sessions designed to support learning, build confidence, and help children explore the natural world in a hands-on way.

Tailored Activity Programmes

Choose from our selection of activities to create a bespoke programme that suits your group’s needs. Whether you’re coming for a single session or a full day, we can build an itinerary that works for you.

For small groups, we can also offer fishing sessions, providing a peaceful and engaging learning experience at the lakeside.

Pricing

  • Activity Packages start from £15 per person

  • Wild Place self-hire starts at £44 per hour for educational groups

Land Activities
​

Our dedicated educational space, the Wild Place, can be hired for schools, forest school training and more. We are working on a dedicated schools offering for this space, more details coming soon.

​

Cycling and triathlon coaching is available on request. Contact us for more details.

​

We also have a permanent orienteering course with maps downloadable here.

 

We do ask that groups let the office know they are operating in the park so we are aware of activities taking place. We would always recommend booking a venue, otherwise we request a donation of £2 per person to help facilitate upkeep of the park.

Water Activities​
​

We have an active and varied water activity scene, covering paddleboard, canoe and kayak, all provided by qualified instructors. We can provide paddleboarding Ready/Born to Ride certificates or British Canoeing courses such as Start, Discover and Paddle Safer. Activities can be one-off or progressive courses of a length to suit you. Whatever your group, we can tailor the activity to suit you.
