In SUP yoga you are always a “boarder” first and a yoga practitioner second. This session introduces board and water safety and basic paddle skills and then continues to a session of basic yoga postures on the paddle board, culminating in a flow sequence to build confidence and strength.

Expect to get a bit wet and to have a lot of fun, leaving with a feeling of a well-worked body with a calm and focussed mind.

This is a great opportunity to come and try out paddleboarding and try out yoga together.

Guaranteed enjoyment in a supportive and friendly group. Prior experience is not necessary.

When: Sundays from 7th July and continuing until 11th August. 11am until 12pm (arrive 15 minutes early).

Where Todd’s Pitt on Milton Country Park. Meet by pontoon (near café) at around 10:45.

Cost £10 per session (or £60 for all 7 weeks)

Suitable for adults.

What to wear: “Gym style” leggings and t-shirts or vest with an additional layer (please avoid cotton or wool). Bare feet.
Please bring a towel and a change of warm clothes for after.

Julie trained as a yoga teacher in 2015 and as a BSUPA instructor in 2019. Local to Milton and a firm fan of Milton Country Park and it’s offering, she is often to be found in the park dog walking or hanging out on the lake.
