Parklife 2019

Sunday May 19th 10am-5pm

On Sunday 19th May, Parklife, our free family fun day run in partnership with South Cambridgeshire District Council returns to Milton Country Park.

Parklife brings together thousands of people to enjoy a variety of free activities and entertainment. It’s a great chance to try lots of different activities and see which ones you could take further to help you lead a more active and healthy lifestyle.

On the lake

Cambridge Sport Lakes Trust are a charity committed to creating opportunities to access outdoor sport and activities. The park’s water sports programme runs from April to September and includes popular paddleboarding, canoeing, open water swimming and paddle club sessions.

Parklife gives everyone the opportunity of free taster sessions in paddleboarding, canoeing, kayaking and fishing.

The watersports are very popular so there will be a booking system with a limited number of spaces bookable in advance and the remainder bookable on the day.

Advance online bookings will incur an admin fee as follows:

  • Paddleboarding: £5 per session (individual)

  • Kayaking: £5 per session (individual)

  • Canoeing: £7 per boat (up to three people)

Please be advised that our water activities are very popular and always sell out so do book/arrive early!

Age and height restrictions also apply so please check the eligibility criteria. An administration fee will apply for advanced bookings.
