Sunday 7th October sees the return of our popular Autumn Festival, a chance to celebrate summer's last hurrah with some of our best local foodies, makers and entertainers!  At the Autumn Festival we are proud to work with many creative and adventurous people to bring you a day of fantastic outdoor fun and adventure!  Here's everything you need to know...

Sunday 7th October 10.30am-5pm
Tickets are £10 per adult, children under 16 are FREE. You can purchase your tickets on the gate but please note that numbers are limited so we do advise purchasing in advance HERE!

Advance ticket sales close at 12pm on Saturday 6th.

Parking is also FREE but LIMITED. We have additional parking available for this event but it does get very busy. We recommend using other forms of transport or you can park at Milton Park and Ride and enjoy a short walk to the fest!

We will put out a notice on our website and social media when or if this event becomes full.  Please leave extra time for your journey.

Advance water activity booking closes at 12pm on Saturday 6th. Details below. We have some slots available on the day but can’t guarantee availability, they are booking up quickly.

Wild Thyme and Embers: Bushcraft Sessions
Bushcraft for all ages including fire lighting, shelter building, and whittling.
Where: The Wild Place

Hoveraid
Book a ride on a hovercraft and get a chance to feel what it’s like to be part of their medical teams out in Madagascar.  Fly across Dickerson's lake and see the park from a whole new perspective!

Miniature Steam Train
Always popular, Milton Country Park is again playing host to a lovely miniature steam train Where: Remembrance Meadow

Canoe Safari 
Follow a trail around Todd's Pit lake and explore the lakes Canadian style!

Cost: £10 per boat (2 adults, one child or one child two adults. Age 4+)

Facepainting & Glitter
Find Glitterbugs in the play area!

The Craft Shack!

New for 2018 meet our talented local yarnies, learn new skills and make beautiful hand crafted items you will treasure including: fairy wands, festival flags, scrap crowns and more!

Wood Craft Folk
Make and take home Viking braiding and friendship bracelets with the Wood Craft Folk!

Fishing 
30 minute taster fishing sessions run by FPAS.  Have a go and see what you can catch!  Supported by the Environment Agency with their large fish tank which will be filled with the fish caught during the sessions.

Pond Dipping 
Find and learn about the mini-beasts living in Deep Pool! Sessions run by the environment agency

Paddle Boarding
Due to previous sessions selling out we’ve added an extra SUP (stand up paddleboarding) Ready to Ride / Born to Ride course on the lake. Learn everything you need to know to paddle independently, earn your Ready to Ride certificate and you can join our paddle club next year!

Apple Pressing
Help the orchard volunteers press their apples and taste our home grown delicious juice!

Cost: FREE donations for the freshest juice you could possibly taste!
