The show will take place on Sunday 24 September 2017 as part of the Autumn Festival. The Festival runs from 10:30 - 17:00. If you wish to visit the Produce Show between these times you will need a Festival ticket. Please do consider supporting the Park by buying a ticket if you can. Alternatively, you can drop off your entries before 10:00 and pick them up after 17:00 without a ticket.
Milton Country Park have kindly agreed that people entering ten or more items in the Produce Show are entitled to a free Festival ticket. When you bring your entries on the day, just let us know if you'd like to claim your free ticket.
What is the Produce Show?
Milton Produce Show is a fun and friendly competition for gardeners, cooks and creative people of all types! Entries are welcomed under these categories:
- Flowers and Plants
- Home Brewing
- Creative Food
- Children's categories
The full list of classes is given on the Entry Form. Each class has awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. A 1st place gets you 4 points, 2nd place 3 points, 3rd place 2 points and unplaced 1 point. The more you enter, the more points you add up. The Cook Award for the overall winner is presented to the person who earns the most points. In addition, a cup will be awarded to one entry in each category that judge feels is outstanding.

How do I enter?
Print off the entry form or pick up a copy from the Visitor Centre. The cost per entry is 50p (children's categories are free). Please hand in your completed form and payment at the Visitor Centre, by 17 September if possible (later entries will be accepted as long as there's room). You can pay by cash or cheque payable to Cambridge Sport Lakes.
Bring the items you're entering to the Visitor Centre on 24 September between 9 and 10am. We will help you set out your entries. If you're unable to come to the Visitor Centre at this time, please get in touch with us and we can make alternative arrangements.
The Guidance Sheet has some hints and tips. This is a friendly and informal event. Don't worry about meeting Chelsea Flower Show/ Great British Bake Off standards: we encourage everyone to have a go!
We keep these to a minimum! See the entry form for more detail. Essentially:
- Entry is open to anyone - you don't have to live in Milton
- Entries must be grown/ created by the entrant
- You can enter as many different classes as you want, but there is a maximum of three entries per person per class. For the photography category there is also an overall limit of five entries per person.
