The Environment Event, 11am to 4pm on 20th June, packed with free family activities as well as stalls from local environmental organisations and with local food and drink. The free programme of family activities in the Country Park includes pond dipping, bird spotting, wild(life) walks, den building, forest school and arts & crafts on the Recycling Bus. Also:

• At 2pm there will be a story-trail through the Park, lasting about an hour.
• City Council Environment Festival Photographic Competition Exhibition & Awards
• Photography clinic for all ages with professional photographer (bring your digital camera).
• Demonstrations of renewable energy generation with Greentech's solar power truck, wind turbine and bicycle generators. Power your own smoothie-maker using the Batbike!
