ice on the lakes
After the recent cold snaps all the lakes are now more or less completely frozen over. The only exception currently is a small area on Dickerson's. It looks lovely but a reminder that until the ice gets really thick it is dangerous.
Ice on Todd's Pit
During a previous cold snap a dog drowned after running out on to Todd's and falling through the ice, so it's not just humans - your pets are at risk too.
