New Paths at the Visitor Centre

The immediate paths surrounding the Visitor Centre, linking the Car Park to the Balcony Ramp and the wider park have been re-surfaced. This should address some of the issues that visitors in wheelchairs or buggies have been experiencing.

Sunday 26th June: Open Water Swim Day

Open Water Poster 2011Triathlon England and Speedo are laying on open water sessions at Milton Country Park to help you overcome your fears and nerves, how to get in and out of your wetsuit, with coaches who will teach you how to alter your stroke to open water conditions, learn how to breathe and swim correctly without panicking or getting over-tired. And do it in complete safety and amongst other like minded. This event is aimed at novice outdoor swimmers and includes:

  • Expert coaching to introduce you to open water swimming
  • Theory session with Q&A
  • Use of a Speedo wetsuit (you are welcome to use your own triathlon wetsuit)
  • Goody bag containing items from our sponsors.
  • Support from Triathlon England staff and volunteers
