We are are the Friends of Milton Country Park, a group which was created in 1993 at the same time as the Park with the aim of promoting education, conservation and recreation at the Park. Over the years the Friends have organised events, raised money and given Park users a say in the way the Park has been run. Unsurprisingly the Friends were very active in the campaign to save the Park from closure in 2007.
Cambridge Sport Lakes Trust (CSLT) has said that they would like to involve the Friends in the management of the Park. We would like to encourage people to become Friends, so that the Friends can have as much influence as possible with the CSLT.
Email membership is free and it will help you to stay informed, find out about events, and have a say in the future of the Park and you can choose how often the Friends contact you when you sign up.
You can do so using this online form.
If you don't have an email address we make a small annual charge if you want us to keep in touch with you by post. You can pick up an application form at the Visitor Centre.
