dickerson's pit
Dickerson's is a flooded gravel pit and lies on the east side of the Park. It contains a mixed population of "silver" fish including chubb, roach and pike and pike fishing is popular in the lake with some good size specimens being caught.

It is the shallowest of the lakes and you can see the shallow ridges running across the lake in our annotated aerial photo. In dry Summers in the past before it was a country park people have waded across it. The water level in Dickersons is controlled by an outfall into the 13th public drain in the south east corner of the lake so it never gets overfull.
