Deep Pool is really part of Dickerson's, being separated from the main part by two spits of land connected by two bridges and a small island.

It's called Deep Pool because it's the deepest part of the old gravel working and was a popular place to swim in the days before the Park was created and swimming was banned. There is allegedly machinery still lurking in the depths.
